Varengold Wertpapierhandelsbank AG is a German investment bank with two core business areas: Asset Management and Capital-Markets-Brokerage. Varengold is a global player with clients from over 100 different countries and a range of selected partners - banks, brokers, hedge funds and assets managers.
Varengold was founded by Steffen Fix and Yasin Qureshi as an asset management boutique in 1995, since when it has specialised in the regulated and reliable investment class managed futures. Following its great success in asset management with managed futures, the bank extended its business in 1998 to include Capital-Markets-Brokerage. Varengold Bank is now listed on the Deutsche Börse and registered with the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin). It manages funds from retail and institutional investors in customised managed futures products authorised for public sale. Varengold has been achieving strong trading results ever since its foundation thanks to its experience and expertise. Seeking to offer transparent, high-performing and liquid financial products, Varengold is one of the most prominent and successful asset managers in its class in the world.
