YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB including detailed documentation (primarily EXCEL-based)
Monitoring of ongoing financial and asset accounting in coordination with the junior accountant/financial accountant
Preparation of the balance sheet of the foreign branch in cooperation with the local tax consultant and the bank's tax consultant
Contact person for tax advisors, auditors and internal departments
Ongoing optimisation of internal bookkeeping and accounting processes
Collaboration in projects, such as NPP (New Product Processes) with regard to the accounting and tax treatment of new products

YOUR PROFILE:

Successfully completed commercial training, ideally with further training as an accountant
Many years of experience in accounting for corporations; ideally also for credit institutions
Strong affinity for technical-operational processes as well as a basic understanding of IT; ideally experience in working with DATEV
Business fluent in German and at least fluent in English (e.g. for communication with Bulgaria)
Initiative, open-minded personality and ability to work in a team
High affinity for numbers and strong logical thinking skills for analysis and optimisation activities
